For years, we have been posting pictures on photo sharing sites like Webshots and Flickr. Until recently, when we decided we don’t want to pay for the annual premium and nor we want to be bombarded with advertisements. We started to look for alternatives.
Then along came Facebook, it’s all fun and good but we realized we don’t have total control of the pictures once we post them, Facebook does. We don’t want to be held hostage by the pictures we cherished. Do you?
This is when the idea of the the Village@fartingcamel is born! And now, we decided to share it with our friends and family where all of us can post and share our pictures in the privacy of our own little cyber Village!

Why this Village?
On Webshots and Flickr,
We used to post our Special Moments,
Then to our Amazement,
There are tons of Advertisements!
Just pay the expensive Annual Fees?
Freedom I don’t see.
So no more Webshots or Flickr!
We post our pictures on Facebook to Mingle…
Oh no, no Image Protection!
We sprang to Action…
We don’t want our pictures to be held Hostage…
